I never shoot for black and white photos. But with this Miley “River” inspired mini boudoir photo session that was the intention I set from the beginning. I created an indoor rain system, a stadium light simulated umbrella diffuser and a crystal curtain to achieve what I had envisioned in my head for these series of sessions. They had to be black and what, high contrast, bright lights, dark shadows, include water, and be amazing. Well, mission accomplished!
Karen’s empowerment photo session turned out amazing. She was my first guinea pig for these photo shoots and I was so excited about the final result that I am not considering offering these as a staple in my little bag of photo tricks. Like many of my clients, Karen had found herself in the day to day grind of taking care of everyone but herself. She was looking for a boost of self confidence to inspire the cool chick she knew still existed deep down inside her somewhere. This photo session helped her to reconnect with herself in a way that she thought wasn’t possible.
